Patterned Plywood Floating Nightstands

For those who haven’t seen patterned plywood before, by slicing up strips of baltic birch plywood and gluing them back into a pattern, you can create a very unique looking panel. This piece is a pair of floating nightstands, with the cabinet box constructed out of dyed-black oak and the drawer fronts made from this patterned plywood. The off-center drawer pull adds another unique element to a modern yet still inviting look of this piece.
